Just when I thought I was done with music,

I met Robi, the lead vocalist of the local band

which didn’t really yet have a name.

His proposal took me by surprise at the time,

but I took this opportunity.

Everything I had learned about music and piano

in a way started to finally make some sense,

and I was able to put that little knowledge into practice.

Next thing you know, we had a name for our band,

“Chrome”,

and we started having some gigs throughout the region.

At the time, the feedback was pretty good,

and we became one of the rock bands

that many locals had heard about.

Our repertoire was composed of cover songs,

as well as original works

some of which we even managed to record in the studio.

The other band members, Robi, Raul, Vlad, Budu and Horia

have always remained very fond of rock music.

Some of them still play in active rock bands,

more than 15 years after we split as a band.

We have all remained good friends ever since.
